{"id":5710,"date":"2006-06-30T00:54:49","date_gmt":"2006-06-30T00:54:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/remichapeaublanc.com\/wp\/2006\/06\/30\/dechet\/"},"modified":"2006-06-30T00:54:49","modified_gmt":"2006-06-30T00:54:49","slug":"waste","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/remichapeaublanc.com\/en\/dechet\/","title":{"rendered":"Waste"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Un d\u00e9chet est un r\u00e9sidu de production, de transformation ou d&#8217;utilisation que son d\u00e9tenteur destine \u00e0 l&#8217;abandon.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis le d\u00e9but du si\u00e8cle, en France (et dans l&#8217;Union europ\u00e9enne), les d\u00e9chets doivent \u00eatre r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9s (d\u00e9chetterie, tri s\u00e9lectif, ISO 14001).<\/p>\n<p>There are four main types of waste:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>biodegradable or compostable waste (green waste, sewage sludge, food scraps, etc.). This waste is destroyed naturally and rapidly, usually by bacteria or chemical reactions, and the products of degradation are identical to natural products. They can be recycled as fertilizer.<\/li>\n<li>Recyclable waste (building materials, metals, plastics): these materials can be reused in other areas. For example, metals are remelted and reintegrated into new parts, plastics are chopped up and used as padding or fuel...<\/li>\n<li>Ultimate waste that \"can no longer be treated under current technical and economic conditions\".
