I'm enjoying a weekend at my second familyto test my equipment.
My bag is not entirely full, but almost (only toiletries, first-aid kit and small equipment are missing). It weighs 15Kg and is super comfortable once in place. However, I'm still finding it hard to put it on without breaking my back.

Then came the test assembly of the tent. Because as the salesman said:
A tent is like a pair of shoes, you have to test them before you leave.
If there's a problem, it's best to find out before the first night.

Conclusive tests, I'm delighted with the equipment I've bought so far.
Pleasant surprise, I can handle my camera with the mounting gloves on. o/
Speaking of gloves again (for the umpteenth time, yes, I know), I saw that Lowepro was making gloves supposedly specifically for photographers. I'm not sure what they're worth, but they'd cost around 30-40€.
Bintz >> I've already bought synthetic fiber under-gloves (like silk under-gloves, but theoretically warmer) and they're very nice.
Hi, there,
As a pro photographer and ultra-light hiker myself, I strongly advise you to make a post in the French forum. http://www.randonner-leger.org.
Submit your entire gear list before you leave to the site's community. You'll get a fresh, outside view from very experienced hikers who are well-informed about the gear you need to consider/adjust for your destination.
:)
