Founded in May 2009 by Emmanuel-Alain Raynal, and joined in 2015 by Pierre Baussaron, Miyu Productions is an audiovisual and film production company specializing in animation, producing short films, series and features.
Over the years, Miyu Productions has built up a reputation as an animation studio with a demanding artistic approach and a commitment to excellence, particularly in its production of animated shorts. Several of our films have been recognized and awarded at the most prestigious festivals, including 27 by Flora Anna Buda, winner of the Palme d'Or and Cristal for short films at the Cannes and Annecy festivals in 2023, as well as our feature films, singular in the contemporary production landscape, (Linda wants chicken! by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach, Cristal for feature film at Annecy in 2023). The company was awarded the Trophée de l'animation du Film Français in 2019, the Procirep prize for French animation producer in 2022 and the César for best animated film in 2024 for Linda wants chicken!
The company is currently developing a portfolio of around ten feature films, twenty shorts and several series and audiovisual units, and has 3 production studios in France (Paris, Valence and Angoulême) and one in Belgium (Brussels).
