The Omar Raddad affair is a series of events that took place in 1991 involving a Moroccan gardener accused of murdering one of his customers, Ghislaine Marchal, a financially well-off widow.
The mysterious, theatrical nature of the crime scene and the twists and turns of the investigation led to one of the most high-profile trials in France at the time.
