Bahu (pronounced "Bako") is going to be my photo assistant for this week. His family lives in the Olgii region, he's 20 years old and is studying English to become a translator... very enthusiastic about learning photography and working with me, I think I couldn't dream of a better translator/guide/assistant.
So we're leaving tomorrow to spend a few days with his family, and then to make contact with the local eaglets. My first escapade in the Altai mountains - owl - which should last 5 or 6 days.
If the feeling is right, it's quite possible that Bahu will accompany me for the rest of my stay in Mongolia. I prefer to stay with the same assistant for as long as possible, so that he gets to know my way of working and my expectations.
See you in a week, Commies! o//
(because I doubt I'll find Wifi in the Altai steppes)
you have to have a gift to find people like that... I also doubt that craigslist exists in the Mongolian steppes. ;-)
bon voyage o/
It's another unlikely meeting, but it's also a stroke of luck for this boy, because with Rémi, Bahu will be in a good school!
(Sorry!!!)
enjoy this week and bonnesdecouvertes
Here you go!!!!! the last few episodes scared me :-) Put the lens on it!!! :-)
After bad luck and accidents, luck comes along for the ride.... Make the most of it and fill your camera with beautiful images, memories and emotions!
