On my return to Katowice, to visit Barbara's bedside, it was with the taxi-man that I struck up a friendship. I was telling him about my journey and the problems with the bike, when he said with a big smile, "Have you ever driven in sand? Why not? Well, because the gentleman in question is a fan of motocross and has offered to come and train me on sandy terrain once Barbara is back on her feet. A good way to test the engine before hitting the road again?
Put on your helmet, stand on the footrests and follow the teacher!
As you can see Barbara, the 250kg Africa-Twin looks like a whale next to its 2-stroke shrimp... but the whale has to be able to go everywhere, even in sand!
