Nídhögg

Nídhögg or Níðhöggr in Old Norse ( He who strikes fiercely ") is a serpent from Norse mythology. It lives beneath Yggdrasil.

In the Völuspá, Nídhögg is presented as living in Naströnd, where he sucks the corpses of perjurers, murderers and adulterers.
